Avital Kolton is Afikim's QA Manager. Her job is to ensure top security and safeguards for stable and dependable electric mobility scooters, by defining a comprehensive line of QA related procedures in the factory. Avital has a QA Engineering degree from Israel's Technion Institution and she has been employed by Afikim for the past 18 months. "My job requires a vast array of responsibilities and reliabilities related to quality control and assurance. Every scooter goes through a strict test in order to ensure brand values maintenance and endeavor to offer the best products available. All procedures, from reception examination, suppliers' inspection, tests assembling, final tests performance to working procedures investigation are under my supervision, in full cooperation with our engineering department. In addition, I am responsible for examining components received from customer service".

"The final test is done, of course, when the scooter is assembled, and each instrument goes through a thorough and rigorous test, done by a specialist with diverse backgrounds and training, who is familiar with the assembling procedure. His knowledge and skill are extremely significant and it is critical that his professionalism is impeccable. The final test is executed both in immobile state (e.g. checking bulbs, screws, seats etc.) and in motion (e.g. surpassing licit inclination, speed range, brakes quality etc.). All tests are done on diverse levels in full interaction with QA and Engineering Departments".
Top Job
Avital's day at work is very busy and requires attention and uncompromising professionalism. Nonetheless, it is interesting and challenging and her presence is noticed throughout all of the factory's departments. She reviews manufacturing, testing, reception and engineering and audits all procedures, thus assuring comprehensive QA to all products leaving the factory.
